Description
A friend and I wait for our tou to begin at Frank Lloyd Wright’s historic Taliesin West studio in Arizona. The day was blistering hot. Shade was almost nonexistent. The sun scorched the ground and long desert-brush shadows stretched across the gravel. I was drawn to the intense contrast, brilliant colors and dynamic composition of my friend waiting patiently under her bright umbrella in this stark desert garden.
