Description
Rush hour in Eagle Rock, California. The shadow of a palm tree takes a bite out of an industrial space.
My oil paintings are distinctive for my use of vibrant color and expressive brushstrokes. I seek to contrast the beauty of the natural world with the “hand of man” in local urban settings.
I ask the viewer to observe objects and situations so common that they’ve become invisible; to see these places and things in a new light; and to consider that they just might be beautiful.
